Books and writing.

I do love a bit of creative writing. It would be a bit hypocritical of me not to since I spend so much of my time telling my class to improve their writing and how much 'fun' it can be. This blog has also given me the chance to express myself.

I'm going to give myself a challenge. Write a creation story. There are after all, so many interesting ones out there. (Nothing, beats the disc on four elephants on a turtle!) The trick would be to make one that, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A PIECE OF FICTION, people could think, 'That might work!'

Let's face it, L Ron Hubbard did a fine job! And even after his death has managed to convince the easily led that a science fiction story is true. Amazing! Hats off to that old crook. :-)
But to his defence, he was only cashing in on a tiny fraction of what most organised religions get away with. If people are stupid enough to fall for it...

Here goes...

In the beginning, there was a possibility. And given an infinite amount of time all posibilities will happen...

  1. So everything must be true then ? Including Creationism which would be one possiblity.

    Peace can reign. Well done.

  2. Scary, but true I suppose. I think my universe of ALL possibilities will mean there will be only peace and harmony as no one person would be right.

I can't quite see how I could make obscene amounts of cash from my new religion though. I may have to rethink this one... ;-)

Comments are unmoderated (free speech and all that) but I have decided to take off anonymous posting. If I can stick my head over the parapet, then common decency suggests that anyone wishing to debate should at least introduce themselves. :-)
Thanks. And feel free to comment about anything!
